Mrs. Petagno's Message

Dear Cranberry Pines Community,
It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as the Principal of Cranberry Pines Elementary School. After nearly nine years as a Supervisor of Instruction in the Medford Township Public Schools, I am thrilled to have been a part of the exceptional community of students, families, and staff at Cranberry Pines for the last four school years.
With over 25 years in education, I’ve had the opportunity to teach children from preschool through sixth grade, serve as an instructional coach, and work as a district supervisor. Whether in the classroom or supporting instruction behind the scenes, my focus has always remained on what matters most — our students. I am committed to fostering strong connections with the students and staff of Cranberry Pines and supporting each individual in reaching their full potential.
My mission as Principal is to cultivate a school culture rooted in kindness, respect, and a sense of belonging. I hold close the words of Theodore Roosevelt: “People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.” Every day, I strive to ensure that every student and staff member knows they are seen, heard, and valued — and that I believe in their ability to succeed.
I am always available to listen, support, and collaborate. Your voice matters, and I welcome your ideas as we work together to make the student experience at Cranberry Pines the very best it can be. Our CP families are a vital part of our school community, and I look forward to building strong partnerships with each of you.
Warmly,
Jen Petagno
